By using SoundCatch, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the extension.

What SoundCatch does

SoundCatch is a Chrome extension that identifies music playing in your browser tabs. It captures a short audio sample from your active tab, sends it to a recognition service, and returns the song information.

Accounts and payments

The free tier provides a limited number of song identifications per month. The Pro tier is a one-time $5 payment for lifetime unlimited access. Payments are processed securely and are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer the extension, use it for automated or bulk song recognition, or resell access to the service. SoundCatch is for personal, non-commercial use.

Intellectual property

SoundCatch identifies songs but does not provide access to copyrighted music. Song metadata, album art, and streaming links are provided for informational purposes. All rights to the music belong to their respective owners.

Availability

We aim to keep SoundCatch running reliably but don't guarantee 100% uptime. Recognition accuracy depends on audio quality and the scope of the music database. We're not liable for failed identifications.

Limitation of liability

SoundCatch is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
